This handsome LP from Westminster (W-9069, US pressing, orange/red label, mono) features the famous Vienna Konzerthaus Quartet, with assisting artists Josef Hermann (double-bass), Hans Berger (horn), and Othmar Berger (2nd horn) in a magical rendition of Mozart’s Divertimento No. 17 in D Major K. 334, warmly recorded in the Konzerthaus, Vienna, circa 1953.

The Vienna Konzerthaus Quartet was comprised of Anton Kamper (1st violin), Karl M. Titze (2nd violin), Erich Weiss (cello), and Franz Kwarda (cello).
