This beautiful LP from Guilde Internationale du Disque (M-2326, French pressing, thick vinyl, green/silver label, mono, laminated flipback sleeve) features conductor Carl Schuricht and the Orchestre de l'Opera de Paris in magnificent accounts of Mozart's Symphonies No. 38 in D Major K. 504 "Prague" and No. 41 in C Major K. 551 "Jupiter", made in Paris in June 1963.

These are warm, vital and exalted performances with the French players on superlative form throughout, and with excellent sonics to match.

There are excellent liner notes on the reverse side of the jacket by Jean et Brigitte Massin, printed in French only. The striking cover art is uncredited.
