$6.00 USD
Jacket GOOD / LP NM / Russian pressing
This fine LP from from Mezhdunarodnaya Kniga · MK (D 05140-05141(a), Russian pressing, blue/silver MK label – ED1, mono) features conductor Kurt Sanderling and the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra’s resplendent traversal of Dvorak’s 12 Slavonic Dances Op. 72, recorded in 1952 and sounding splendid here.
The reverse side of the jacket insightful liner notes by O. Shneyerson – printed in Russian and English. The striking cover design is uncredited.
CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is GOOD (Please note: This is eBay’s lowest grading and near the bottom of my own scale). There is a 2” split to the spine and another 2” split to the top edge. There is also general wear and aging. However the album remains solid, bright, and attractive – overall, stil a decent copy.
The condition of the LP itself is near-MINT. Though the surfaces are not perfectly silent (and thus I have rated it NM vs. MINT) this is a fine copy and playback is superb. If you must have perfect surfaces, then please do not buy this LP. Overall, this rates as a NM collector's copy.
