In addition to Beethoven's Overture to Egmont Op. 84 and Schumann's Overture to Manfred Op. 115, Oistrakh is heard here leading the USSR Symphony Orchestra in Wagner's Overture to Tannhauser, as well as the Apprentices' Dances and Masters' Entranc from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.
