This handsome and rare 4-LP box set – a still-sealed copy – from Capitol and Angel Records (HDR 21004, US pressing, label iteration unknown, mono, booklet included) entitled “Modern American Ballet” features a “Capitol and Angel Records Special” release in their “Music Educators Series”, gathering together four ballet music recordings from the Capitol catalog.
Included are the following works:

Raffaello de Banfield: The Combat
Aaron Copland: Billy the Kid
William Schuman: Undertow

All of these recordings features Joseph Levine conducting the Ballet Theater Orchestra, and all are eminently fine performances worthy of any collection.
CONDITION – PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of box is EXCELLENT. The only fault concerns a cut-out hole to the lower-right corner that passes through both sides of the box, but that is all. There are no corner breaks, seamsplits, owners’ markings, or other defects, and the box remains solid, bright, glossy, and highly attractive – overall, an excellent collector’s copy.
The condition of the booklet is MINT.
The condition of the 4 LPs is MINT. These are still-sealed, unplayed copies – ideal collector's copy.
