Jacket NM / LP NM

This handsome 10" LP from Philips (836.221 VZ, French pressing, white/blue "Hi-Fi Stereo" label) features conductor Bernard Haitink and the Concertgebouw Orchestra in magnificent performances of Smetana's Vltava, No. 2 from Má Vlast and Tchiakovsky's Capriccio Italien Op. 45, both sumptuously recorded in the rich acoustics of the Grote Zaal, Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, on 19 September 1961.

Incidentally, the lovely cover photo, entitled "Naples et le Vésuve vus de Mergellina", was taken by Jacques Dupaquier. The reverse side of the jacket carries brief liner notes (uncredited and printed in French only), as well as listing of other Philips titles in this series.
