This handsome and rather elusive LP from Rediffusion · Royale (licensed from Ensayo, ROY 2012, beige label, stereo) features the long-standing and highly distinguished leader of the English Chamber Orchestra, José Luis Garcia Asensio in warm and songful readings of Mozart's Violin Concertos No. 3 in G Major K. 216 and No. 5 in A Major K. 219 "Turkish", both recorded at EMI Abbey Road Studios, London in 1976. Interestingly, one of the coordinating producers was Harold Moores, owner of the famous London-based record shop.

There are insightful liner notes on the reverse side of the jacket by Richard Bernas, printed in English only. The striking cover art is uncredited.

CONDITION:

The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.

The condition of the jacket is near-MINT. There is some minuscule bumping at corners, as well as some minor creasing, but that is all. Otherwise, the album appears almost as new. There are no seamsplits, bends, or owners' markings, and the album remains solid, bright, and glossy – a fine collector's copy.

The condition of the LP itself is near-MINT and it plays without defect – a superb collector's copy.
