An odd compendium of Beethoven's 9 Symphonies, plus Brahms's Tragic Overture and Bruckner's Te Deum, featuring conductors Bruno Walter, Wilhelm Furtwangler and Arturo Toscanini. These LPs were issued separately by Melodiya, but were apparently gathered ad hoc to arrive at complete traversal of the Nine Symphonies of Beethoven. The most interesting performances are those of Furtwangler, as these copies no doubt used the masters seized in Berlin by the Russian Army following Germany's defeat.
