Refunds

Refunds can take the following forms:

 

1) Cash back (either via a refund to your credit card or via PayPal).

> If you paid by PayPal, refunds can more or less be processed immediately.

    > If you paid by credit card, a credit will be made back to your card; the process for this can be a bit longer – see “Late or missing refunds” below**.

      2) Store credit.

      3) Some combination thereof.

       

      Refunds for missing and/or lost items

      Such refunds will not be provided until at least 30 days have elapsed from the shipment date - this is to allow for unexpected delays in the global shipping network. During the winter holidays, this policy is extended to 45 days.

       

      Refunds for broken items

      Such refunds will be promptly provided after the customer has provided photos of said damage. Photos can be sent to info@casals-classical.com.

      Broken items do not need to be returned. Nor should they be.

       

      Refunds for standard returns

      Such refunds will not be made until the returned item has been received. For any item of $30 or more in value, certified mail is recommended (i.e., with a tracking number). Do not return items by express mail (e.g., FedEx). I absolutely will not reimburse return costs because a customer – anxious to receive a refund – returns an item using some express mail service with the expectation that the return shipping cost will also be refunded. That is not the case. Use standard mail and, depending on the circumstances, I will reimburse you the cost for return shipping. This is decided on a case-by-case basis.

       

      Partial refunds

      A partial refund might result when a customer is disappointed in the item for some reason (e.g., he or she believes the condition was not stated accurately), but still wishes to keep the the item (vs. returning it). In such cases, I will refund some portion of the original sale price, usually between 25% and 50%.

       

      **Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

      If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account again.

      Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

      Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

      If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at info@casals-classical.com.

       

      Returns

      Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of the item(s). Please contact me first before initiating a return. If 30 days have elapsed since you received the item(s), a return will not be accepted, unless there are some convincing extenuated circumstances. This will be at my discretion.

      To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It does not have to be returned in the original packaging, but it must be well packaged. For example, please do not return an LP using a flimsy bubble-lined envelope.

      As stated above, for returns, please use standard mail and, depending on the circumstances, I will reimburse you the cost for return shipping. This is decided on a case-by-case basis. Do not use express mail to return items unless you are willing to pay for that. I absolutely will not reimburse return shipping costs when express (or some other expensive and unnecessary courier) service has been used.
