This handsome LP from French RCA (630 751 A, red/silver label, mono, laminated flipback jacket) features Arturo Toscanini in a resplendent all-Wagner program, recorded with the NBC Symphony Orchestra on brilliant form. Unlike some of the Maestro's earlier NBC material, all the selections preserved here were taped in the warm, spacious acoustics of Carnegie Hall, New York.
