This lovely LP from Concert Hall (SMS-2296, Swiss Turicaphon pressing, plum/silver label, stereo, flipback jacket) features conductor Mendi Rodan leading the Das Ramat-Gan-Kammerorchester in an enchanting program of Italian baroque works for chamber orchestra.

The Ramat Gan Chamber Orchestra was established in Israel in 1954 and plays with great vitality and unfailing beauty of tone. These are wonderfully spirited performances and the sound is superb. This album was recorded in the early to mid-1960s.
There are fine liner notes on the reverse side of the jacket by Kur Pahlen, printed in German only. The striking cover art was executed by Marian Schottland.
