Ormandy: Rimsky-Korsakov Le Coq d'Or, Russian Easter Festival Ov, etc. - Columbia MS 6092

$2.00 USD

Jacket VG / LP NM / US pressing

This superb LP from Columbia Records (MS 6092, US pressing, brown label, stereo) features Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra in a resplendent all-Russian program, brought off with breathtaking virtuoso panache and technicolor brilliance.

Included are the following works:

Rimsky-Korsakov: Le Coq d’Or Suite – rec. 1 March 1959

Rimsky-Korsakov: Russian Easter Overture Op. 36 – rec. 1 April 1959

Glinka: Russlan and Ludmilla Overture – rec. 15 March 1959

The condition of the jacket is VERY GOOD. There is edgewear, particularly at corners, as well as a small pen-marking and a price sticker to the rear panel. However, there are no bends, seamsplits, or owners’ markings and the jacket remains solid, bright, and glossy – overall, a very good collector's copy.

The condition of the LP itself is near-MINT and plays without defect – a superb collector's copy.
